U Generalnoj skupštini UN usvojen je Nacrt rezolucije o Srebrenici, a za taj dokument glasalo je 84 za, 19 je bilo protiv, dok je 68 zemalja bilo uzdržano.
Ujedinjene nacije imaju 193 zemlje članice, tako da glasanje pokazuje da je manje od polovine članica glasalo za ovu rezoluciju.

Ako se zajedno uzmu glasovi protiv i onih koji su bili uzdržani, vidljivo je da je manji broj zemalja glasao za rezoluciju od onih koji su je podržali.
